Saturfunday

I love the weekends. This morning my dad cooked some egg whites and turkey bacon. The turkey bacon is awesome but the eggs are gross and I make funny faces when I eat them.

After breakfast, we played with my remote control car and walked around the pool a few times (it is hot right now and I couldn't touch the chaise lounges with my hands). I like my dad's hats so I take them off his head and put them on... guess I am a tomboy.


This afternoon we took a drive to visit GiGi, Raul, Damian and Sharia. Chubby was sick this week so we were happy to see him and I petted him and gave him some squeaky toys. Dad and I went out front and played in the grass for a while with my "borrowed" highlighters from Uncle Damo.



GiGi and I stepped in the pool with Danielle and Miss Barbara (my uncle Damian's mother in law). It was so much fun that I had to get in and get my pants wet. My daddy went with his bro Damian and Raul (he makes me laugh)to eat sushi for dinner so I stayed at the house and ate chicken and sweet potatoes and played with the dogs and had "girl time". GiGi held me while I took a late nap since I didn't take my afternoon one, and then dad took me home after I said bye to everyone. I can't wait to see them again on the 4th of July.


It was a good day! Yaaaawn! I am in bed now. Talk to you tomorrow. L--

Mommy's Gone, Daddy Pasta Time

Dad came home tonight and heated up some more lasagna for me. I love the noodles. Eating with my hands is so much fun. Plus, there is cheese (pronounced geeez) in there too. Dad brought out his big camera since mom took the small one and we posed for pictures. I like to take pictures since dad shows me them on the screen.

Strawberries too! Did I tell you how much I love strawberry frozen yogurt? When I see dad pull it out of the freezer, i grunt and point until he gives me some spoonfuls. :)


I miss my mommy but daddy and I are having fun too. We are going to the park tomorrow and then to the club for lunch and I don't know what else. Mommy comes back on Sunday. Today was her birthday so if you are reading this HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!!! Bring me back some sand from the beach!

Bye Bye Mommy

Today Laura told mommy that I tried to sit in the baby doll stroller today.

Mommy is leaving tomorrow to go out of town for a few days and she is really sad to leave me. Mommy really hopes that I update her on what I am doing while she is away.

So much to tell you!

I am back! Did you miss me? I am sorry it has been a while but we have been really busy lately. The good news is there are a lot of things to tell you about!

I have become a major daddy's girl. When I see my dada I scream DA DA! I even try to follow him into the bathroom and if he shuts the door I stand at the door crying so he lets me in.

Mommy and daddy went out one night for dinner this weekend. I stayed with my nana and papa poo. Nana told my parents that I blew kisses at them at the table during dinner. Nana told my parents I am a good eater too. Mommy and da da came to pick me up and as soon as I saw them I started half crying and half laughing..I was so happy to see them! I suddenly became very clingy and hugged on my parents a lot because I really missed them. Nana put cute bows in my hair that she bought me. I wore them all weekend.

I kiss now! Mommy and daddy will say "give me a kiss" and I make this face and get close to them and give them a kiss. Sometimes I give my mommy a kiss and then I give dada a kiss right after and then go back to mommy. I also try to kiss the dogs.

I also point to my belly button. I pull my shirt up and point to it. I will also pull your shirt up and point at yours-and I will look up at your face and wait for you to laugh.

I am starting to try to say Beauji, belly button, baby and some other words that only my mommy and daddy can make out.

Mommy and daddy took me to the American Girl store this weekend. It was so exciting...I ran around looking at all of the dolls and even pushed the doll stroller. My parents bought me twin dolls with a few outfits and a twin stroller. I love pushing the stroller around the house. I also kiss my dolls.

Laura came back to work today after a long holiday weekend and said that I look different.

Cup Foot-Layla's new trick.

Da da is stuck in Vegas and we really miss him. Tonight I fell asleep pretty fast. This is what I did right before I went to bed. Mommy started this by putting a cup on my foot and I thought it was so funny!

Happy Birthday Da Da!

Happy Birthday Da da! I really miss you. This is what I did today since ma ma has been around.

Ma ma came home from work and I was outside in my pink swimming suit and purple shoes running around by the pool. I came over to her car and started playing with boxes that were on the ground. She was reorganizing her trunk and I was having a blast. I got really hot so Laura went and got my cute water bottle that you bought me with the cartoon characters on it...and drank a lot of water!

Once Laura left for the day mama took me outside to play a little and check the mail. Ma ma brought me back inside and I walked right to the front door and tried to open it and started making my grunting noise because I really wanted to go back outside. Ma ma took me and I picked up sticks, leaves, a flower petal, tried to pick up a rock, and walked around.







After all of that I ate dinner. Mmmmmm...I love gerber fruit!




After dinner mommy put me in my crib while she picked out my outfit for bed. I did a little dancing.



After dinner I played a little and rode on my cart.





After playing mommy and I read a few books.

Where is my da da?

Last night mommy and I went to a friend's wedding party. We had a great time. I picked leaves off of a tree and gave them to people half of the night. The other half of the evening I played with a blue paper napkin and a plastic plate. It was fun but thank goodness mommy left when she did because I got really cranky and just wanted to get home.

I am wearing the dress that Gigi bought me a few weeks ago when I saw her at the mall. Isn't it cute?



Mommy and I went swimming again today. This time it was a little different. I let mommy put me in the red ladybug float and I actually floated by myself! It was fun and I smiled a lot. I am getting very brave! Mommy would say kick and I would kick my feet. She took a video of it.








After playing in the pool for a while mommy and I got out of the pool and took a quick picture of something new that we do a lot. I stick my tongue out at mommy and she sticks hers out too...She wants to see if I can roll my tongue because daddy can't do it but mommy can. I haven't done it yet.



After the pool mommy gave me a bath and I played a little around the house. As you can see in my video I play with my mom's sunglasses and try to put them on my head because I know that is where they belong. I am also making kissing noises to my kitty which I do a lot. I heard my mom do it once so I think this is the way to get Kabookie's attention but it has not worked yet.





After hanging out at home mommy, Whitney, and I went to dinner. I saw a man far away across the restaurant and yelled Da Da! Mommy told me that dada isn't here..but will be back on Tuesday. Where is my dada anyway? Dinner was fun and I made farting noises with my mouth the whole way home from the restaurant.

I have started playing with the dogs. I take their toys and try to get them to play keep away with me.

Swimming

Mommy and I went swimming today. She brought out this blue raft I have never seen. I was scared at first but then I got used to it because mommy sat me in the middle and stayed close to me while I was on it. I finally was so comfortable I started dancing to the old timey music playing from the speakers!

After the pool-mommy gave me a piece of cheese. I said cheese a few times for her. Cheese is mommys favorite word that I say.

I sure miss my daddy. I can't believe he is going to be gone for so long!













And after all of that-I took a bath. I am taking a nap now. Tonight mommy is taking me to a wedding party!

Daddy's birthday

Daddy will be out of town for his birthday so we celebrated early as a family. I helped daddy open his gifts.

These pictures are of me today sending mom off to work. I followed her to her car and when she tried to shut the door I would scream. She finally had to drive off because she had a meeting and I was crying as she was looking in her rear view mirror. I think mommy was a little heart broken.





This is a picture of me making an awful face because I fell down and hit my head. Laura was putting ice on it to make it feel better.



And these pictures are of me just playing before bedtime. In the picture with my mommy I have feather. I like to pull them out of the couch, hand them to my parents, watch them blow the feather in the air, and then I try to blow too. Mommy came home from work today and I was dancing like crazy. I like to dance when there is music and even when there is no music...and you won't believe this but I really like to dance before bedtime!
