New things

Hi everyone. I wanted to tell you about a few new things going on with me.

I am starting to take a few steps all by myself. What fun. Mommy and daddy can not go anywhere with me without me trying to crawl down them so I can walk. I want to walk all of the time. If they don't let me I start crying. I also start crying sometimes if my parents won't let me go outside.

Mommy and daddy took me to go look at houses this weekend. Mommy gave me goldfish in the car and when I wanted another one I would just grunt 2 or 3 times and mommy would know to give it to me. I would smile while I was doing it.

My 5th tooth is getting kinda big! I also started a new thing..biting people. I try to bite my moms nose, her mouth, and I am biting my daddys finger in the picture below.

Another new thing that I do is I try to grab my mommys eyes and eyelashes. I do this to myself too...and sometimes I put my fingers on my teddy bears and dolls eyes. Mommy hopes this stops soon.

I am getting so much bigger-clothes are getting small again. Mommy and daddy took me to the Norstrom Bistro today and the waitress wanted to give me chocolate milk. I know I look big but inside I am still a little girl!

Mommy ordered a cake for me for my birthday today. She got a strawberry Neiman's cake which happens to be my daddy's favorite. I eat strawberry ice cream every night with my daddy.

I have been walking back and forth in the living room with my two walkers-one I got from Gigi for Christmas and one that my nana bought me. I like to put the dog balls and soccer ball in the little wagon on the walker and push it and watch them ride on it.

I also like to roll the soccer ball across the room to my mom and dad.

I am starting to copy what my parents say. My daddy said "kick kick kick" the other day and I started saying it too. That is my favorite phrase to copy. I also say Moo when my mommy and daddy say it when they read a book to me. My nana heard that one when she was babysitting me when my parents were out of town.

That is about it for now. My birthday is coming soon...I am really excited. Time has flown by so fast.








This is me wrestling with daddy. I get a little loopy when it is time to go to bed. Sometimes I just roll on mommy and then roll on daddy, and go back to mommy and back to daddy.

Kizzy-you cuddle bug you! You lived a long 16 years-and almost made it to 17.
We met when I was just 14. Heather, Kizzy was the best birthday present I have ever received.

I took you to college and made you live with many different cat and dog roommates that you always got along with. You used to love to walk outside and sit on my balcony of my first apartment. I can't believe I let you do that! We drove back and forth from Nacogdoches to Dallas so many times..you were such a good little car kitty!

After college I bought Kabookie...which made you mad and you wouldn't let me pet you for a week. I think you started sleeping in Whitney's room then! You came around when you realized you had a new friend too.

We moved in with Don and ever since you have lived with 3 more dogs... You always got along with the dogs. I always laughed when I found you in the dog beds-especially when they were in them too. Beauji liked to snuggle up to you when she was a puppy.

For some reason you were Layla's favorite. Her favorite thing to do was to point at you, pet you, and pull your hair out and look at it. Don always said he didn't like cats but I would catch him petting you in the kitchen, you on his lap, and he would put a cat bed down for you in the kitchen to make sure you were comfortable when you started losing weight.

I have known you for more than half of my life and things are just so different here without you. You were my first pet and you will never be replaced.

We miss you.

My 5th Tooth!

I have some news! I am getting a new tooth-this will be my 5th and it is to the left of my front two teeth. Have you been wondering what I have been up to all week? I have been playing and walking...LOTS! I play for about 10 minutes and then I get really bored and want to walk around the house. I walk outside, to the window and knock, and all around the house-with help from Laura of course!

Easter

We left my great grandpa's house and headed straight to see Gigi and Raul at their new house. I slept the entire way there. The most exciting part of this trip-the dogs! Pudge and Tubby were there and I was so excited to see them. I pointed at them a lot and smiled.

I woke up on Sunday and mommy put me in this dress for Easter. I was not having it---I hated that dress. As soon as she put it on me I started crying like crazy...But she was able to get some pictures.






Fran, Gary and their son came by to see me. Hi Fran! She reads my blog so we were like old friends! Fran brought over a really cute stuffed animal and some easter eggs! Thank you so much for the cute stuffed animal-I held it in the car on the way home.

This is a picture of me after mommy took my dress off. Do you like the diaper cover she bought me? This was my first time to wear it...it has my name on it and everything. This is me looking out the window at my friend Tubby.



I slept half way home...then finally woke up and cried a little bit. I was really tired of being in the car. Mommy gave me some toys and danced for me to keep me entertained. Daddy started dancing too! We must have looked crazy! I love dancing....especially when mommy and daddy dance with me. We all danced at a restaurant this weekend..what fun! I got a little tired of dancing and then cried some more. Mommy gave me some goldfish and a bottle and it made me feel much better-I went right back to bed and didn't wake up until we got home!

I had a great weekend but I am so happy to be home!

My Great Grandpa

On Friday my parents took me to see my great grandpa. I had a great time visiting him. I was really sad to go but we will be back very soon!

Dinner with Whitney

Mommy and daddy came home tonight from work and said we were going to dinner with Whitney. I am readddyyyy!!!!

I miss my daddy

Dad had to go out of town. I really miss him. Today mommy got home from work and I was outside in the backyard by the pool with Laura. We came inside and I walked around with my walking wings on again.






Look mom...No Hands!



Before having dinner-I saw a big orange soccer ball outside. I pointed to it and my mommy went outside and got it and brought it over to me. I couldn't believe that she knew what I wanted...but I am starting to really like this!






This is me trying to feed the dogs again tonight! I am not really hiding it these days....I just throw 3 or 4 crackers all at once and wait for one of my dogs to come and get it.

Hi, it's me! I had another fun filled day today. I got to see my grandma again and my grandpoo. I went to that great park for a little bit....and went to lunch and flirted with a waiter. These are some pictures of me before I went to bed.




And more dancing....Mommy and daddy took me to dinner. We went to this sushi restaurant and I just could not stop dancing in my highchair. You will never guess what was playing...Enigma. Mommy barely noticed it in the background until she saw me dancing away. I had my hands up in the air and everything.

I forgot to tell you the biggest news ..... and I am sorry to say but this is old news. I have been standing all by myself. Today I did it for about a minute. I just stand right up and let go of whatever it was I was holding and stand. Sometimes I clap or play with things...but I let go. I also can walk a few steps on my own. I have been doing this for about a week but I forgot to tell you. I think the most I have walked on my own is three or four steps.

Daddy is leaving in the morning to go to Missouri. I sure am going to miss him. I hope he takes his computer so he can see me while he is gone. He will come back on Tuesday and then Mommy leaves Tuesday and comes back on Wednesday. She is going to Shreveport for work. I hope she brings me back a present!
