Sleeping and the crib

Last night was a big night for us! Layla slept in her crib for the first time. She went to bed at 9:30 and woke up at 6:00 am. I am in heaven!!

I am going back to work August 13th.

We are still going to interview another nanny but we think that we found one that we really like. I am also going to tour a daycare since I have never been in one.

I wanted to see if Layla would fit into the Baby Einstein jumper so I put it together and put her in. Her feet do not touch the floor-even on the lowest setting. She just hung there. LOL.

Layla's diapers are getting tight again so I think we need to go up another size soon. She is growing so fast! I can not believe that my maternity leave is more than half over.

I have not been taking many pictures lately-I will try to take more.

Dr Visit

Today we went to the doctor. Layla weighs 11 pounds and 9 ounces. She is 23 1/2 tall. She is in the 90 % in height! She had 4 shots and screamed the entire time!

9 weeks

Layla has been trying to eat her hand lately-She drools all over me! She is outgrowing a lot of her clothes. I went through her closet and drawers and had to box a lot of her newborn clothes up. :(

I know it looks like she just sits in this bouncer all day long and I swear that is not the truth. I always have her in the kitchen when I put her down to take pictures!

Invention idea!?

I have a great idea for an invention!!! Or has someone already thought about it?

Wednesday

We went to lunch with Julie and Lauren today. We went by Baby Gap and
couldn't resist a few things. :)

Layla is growing so fast. I tried to dress her in a onesie that she just wore last week and it was too short to button at the bottom. I am shocked that she can grow that much over a weekend.

Sunday

I started feeding Layla a bottle of formula a day yesterday - :) :) :)
Monday I will feed her two.

Layla slept through the night last night-of course it was a night that Don said he would wake up and feed her. This was her first time to do this so I am excited. I really hope she keeps it up but I have a feeling tonight will not be a good night because she has been sleeping all day.
