Where is my daddy?

My daddy left today. I don't know where he went but I want him back. All I have been saying all night is dada dada dada. Mommy called dada on the phone and my face lit up! It was so good to hear my dada but I wish he would come home.

Laura made me an egg with 2 corn tortillas for breakfast (cooked together) and I ate the entire thing! I am so hungry today!

Stitches

Today I had an accident. I fell down the steps in the living room and split my forehead open. Laura called mommy and daddy and daddy and Laura took me to the doctor. The doctor was on his lunch break so we had to wait a while. Mommy came to the office too with the girl she was training who was in town. When mommy saw me I was smiling really big but she was a little upset to see what my head looked like.

The doctor finally saw us and wanted me to go see a plastic surgeon since the split was right above my eye on my eyebrow. We went to the surgeon and waited for a very long time because he had to run to the ER for an emergency.

Mommy, daddy and I ate in the cafeteria downstairs at the hospital. I had a ham and cheese sandwich! After eating we went back to the office and mommy had to leave the room while daddy stayed with me and I got stitches. Only one person was allowed to stay in the room and I am glad it was daddy who stayed because mommy was really upset when she heard the screaming while she was in the waiting room.

I screamed because they gave me medicine to numb the area. I fell fast asleep when the doctor put the pain medicine on me. He came back 15 minutes later and put stitches in. I have a bandaid over the area that I kept trying to pull off. I cried the entire way home.

When I got home mommy got me ready for bed while daddy tried to make me smile by dancing behind her in the circus hat that I got this weekend. He was funny but I didn't laugh because I didn't feel good. I snuggled with mommy while she gave me a bottle and then fell asleep on daddy.

I hope I feel better tomorrow. The stitches come out on Monday. Mommy has jury duty that day so daddy will have to take me. Daddy leaves to go to Vegas in a few days so I am going to have to get through this week with mommy and Laura.

The Circus

Today my mommy and daddy took me to Houston's for lunch.

I have a new favorite thing...The Circus. Wow- I had such a great time. My daddy is the best daddy in the world because he bought me front row tickets to the Barnum & Bailey Circus today. I saw everything really close and even the announcer was looking at me and smiling at me during the show. I yelled at clowns, dancers, saw fire, tigers... this was the most fun I have ever had. Mommy bought me a clown nose that blinked and I also got a big wand that lights up. I danced a lot to the music. Thank you daddy for getting such great seats to this show. Mommy isn't as good as you are at getting the best seats!

Do you see the food and drinks beside daddy in the picture? The people sitting next to dada ate a hotdog, popcorn, nuts, 2 large cokes, cotton candy, and nachos. Daddy was really bothered by this but I really liked to watch them. I would just stare. I do that a lot.

I am taking a lonnnng nap now because I am very tired from all that I did today.

The dollhouse chair

In swim class today I went under water for 6 seconds!

I did something so funny today. Mommy and daddy took me to the mall and we went to a store and saw a doll house. I took a doll house chair out of the house-put it on the ground-turned around and tried to sit in it. Daddy laughed so hard-I tried to do this about 3 times! I really don't understand why a 2 inch by 3 inch chair isn't big enough for me to sit in!?


So as you know I bend down like my jack in the box----bend up and say "Boo!"




Mommy and daddy took me to the park today.










Kids would come up to me and I like to point at them-right in their face. LOL.

I can't wait to see the greatest show on earth tomorrow!

Jack in the box

Mommy bought a jack in the box for me. When she turns the handle and the music plays I get so frustrated because I want the man to pop out of the box. I start making noises and finally he pops up and I laugh so hard. We do this over and over. I started pretending I am the jack in the box and I squat down and pop up and yell "Boo!" Mommy acts scared when I do this so I do it over and over and over. She caught me on video doing this.



Laura told mommy that while playing at the park today I played the Boo game with my new friend for about 30 minutes!

Another thing I like to do is to push my chair around the house and say "beep beep!"



I really like to eat ice lately. Mommy gives it to me and I smile and look like she just gave me a handful of candy.

Mommy and daddy are taking me to the Circus this weekend. I am so excited to go. Not only do I get to go to the circus but I also get to go back to my swimming class!

The Mall

Yesterday my mommy took me over to see my nana and grand poo. Then mommy, nana, and I went to the American Girl store to buy my babies new clothes. We were going to eat at the American girl store but there was a one hour wait and you needed reservations(who knew!?) so instead we went to Mi Cocina. While eating lunch I laughed at this teenager in the corner who was making funny faces at me. There was also a screaming baby that I wanted to imitate.

After eating lunch we went to this park in the Galleria. Mommy let me run around there and I had a great time. I really liked this ladybug and crawled all over it. After the park we went to a few stores.

Mommy bought me a new pair of ballerina flats like the ones that Gigi bought me for Christmas but in a bigger size. We really liked those shoes. Gigi bought me a tea set to keep at her house and a fake ice cream wooden set with scoopers, cones, and ice cream. I can't wait to play with it.

After the mall I fell asleep on the way home.

At home Mommy fed me and gave me a bath. I stood up and filled a cup with water and threw it all over myself and laughed. I did this over and over. I think dada taught me this in swim class this weekend. Then I filled the cup up with water and threw it on mama. Now that was funny too!

After throwing water around I started to put my face in the water and try to drink the bath water. Mommy would say "no Layla" and I would just crack up laughing. I kept doing this over and over and watch mommy tell me not to do it and we laughed about this for about 5 mintues.

Dada put me to bed. I had a great weekend!
