The dogs love Cheerios!

Mom is home!

My mom came home yesterday! I was so excited to see her. Laura had me dressed in this really nice dress that Gigi gave me for my shower with a cute red bow that I got from Gigi for Christmas. I felt like I was going to a party. My mom came home and I couldn't stop smiling at her.

My mom was feeding me dinner last night (she kept me in my dress so my dad could see) and I showed her my new trick-how I can feed the dogs. If the dog is to the side of my highchair-I either throw my Cheerios on the floor where the dog is or I let them eat right out of my hand. Sometimes the dogs will be right under my chair and in that case I look down between my tray and me and I throw my Cheerios between my legs so they land right where the dog is. It is so neat...why would you ever need to go to a petting zoo when you can do this!?

I also started another new thing-I can use my arm and hand to cover my mouth and I can make funny noises that way. I am doing it on the video.

We were going to go to the aquarium downtown today but my mom got sick on her trip to Denver so we couldn't go. My mom went to the dr this morning and then my Nana and Grandpa Poo came over to pick me up. I was so happy to see Grandpa poo!

Better Hair Day

I am having a better hair day today. I forgot to tell you my dad took me to the doctor yesterday and I really like sitting in the doctor's office and tearing the paper off the doctor's table. You can tear it up and throw it on the ground and it covers the entire table. The doctor wasn't very good to me, he stuck a bright light in my face and pricked my toe and gave me two shots. I cried really loud so I was happy when that was all over. Phew!

The nurse weighed me in my diaper and measured my body for some reason. I got to wear this cool hat too that looked like a ruler. I am 29.5 inches long (97%), 21 lbs and 9 oz (90%) and my head is 17 14/16" (85%) whatever that means. My mom wanted my head measured since she can't get my clothes over my head and says my dad has a big noggin'.

My dad and I had dinner tonight when he got home from running. Grandma Elise came by and brought him some beef stew and he ate that while I had my Sweet Potatoes and Corn. I just couldn't wait to get some Cheerios and Nilla Wafers for dessert.

We talked on the phone to Winnie the Pooh and I played with my piggy bank and coins like I do every night. It is by far my favorite toy right now. I hand the coins to my daddy and then he gives him back and then I throw them off the side of the couch and my dad picks them up. We do this for an hour until we read a book and then I know it is time for my bottle.

My mommie called on the phone tonight so I tried to talk to her but I don't understand how dad's phone works. I just like to push the buttons and look at the light. It isn't as easy as my Winnie the Pooh phone. I wish she would call me on that phone since I already have Roo and Eee-ore on Speed Dial.

I am going to bed now. My dad said we are going to the Dallas Aquarium this weekend where they have fishies in a huge tank. I hope it stays warm enough.

Tuesday - Where's my mom?

Today is Tuesday and my mom isn't here at the house. I need to show her how I talk into the Winnie the Pooh phone and have been waving to everyone I see. I am sure she will be back soon.
Did I tell you about my cats? I have two of them and I like to chase them off the couch after I point and scream at them. They make me giggle.

I know I talk about this all the time but I really like to feed Beauji and Caymus. They lay next to me while I am eating and I drop Cheerios on the floor and let them lick my hands. It is fun for me since I like to share.
Well, I am starting to rub my eyes and yawn now and my dad is reading me a story about a mouse princess so I will write more tomorrow.

Nilla Wafers. Yummmy!

Tonight after I had my dinner with chicken and carrots, I asked for cheerios like I always do since they are my favorite. My dad pulled out another box out of the cabinet and it looked like a bright yellow cereal box so I thought it was a another kind of Cheerios.

He told me that I could have one as long as I took small bites. (I have two small teeth now so I am learning to use them to mush up my food). Daddy said these "niller wafers" are his favorites and he can't wait to show me his trick of eating them with a glass of milk (I can't have milk until I am one year old).

That cookie was the best thing I ever tasted. I didn't even want to share it with anyone. In fact, when I finished the first one, I kept crying for more until dad gave me half of his cookie. He told me I could have them whenever I wanted but it would be our little secret. So, I am keeping this one quiet.

Cowboys make my daddy cry...

My mom is out of town so my dad and I hung out together and watched football all day. I don't understand what is happening on the TV but I like the noises that golf and football make. If you point at the TV and make loud noises, it makes loud noises too.

We had a great time just playing with my toys and climbing on the couch and watching TV. When it was getting late, he was really excited and looked upset. It made me cry since I couldn't tell if he was happy or sad. He said it was okay though and read me a book about a Pony.

I miss my mom though, she usually takes me in to watch Elmo when dad watches football or golf. I think she doesn't like it very much. I wore my favorite jersey but my mom and dad couldn't find the jersey I wanted, the pink one. Dad says that football is done now so maybe I can find the jersey I wanted for next year.

We had some dinner while watching TV and I was so tired from playing with my new toys, I had to get some rest.

Peek A Boo

This is a video of me playing my peek a boo game. I usually laugh when I play it but this morning I was a little serious!

I am all ready for the Cowboys game today....I can't wait to watch it with my daddy!
