I came home today and saw Layla's hair and nearly died. I went straight to get my camera to document it. Layla had these crazy pony tails all over her head. Laura must have been playing hair dresser today!
This week we got the best Christmas presents from Jymme. She bought us a couch, end table, coffee table and rug (they are not here yet,) a desk and a chair. They are so beautiful...and our house seems so much more homey now. Layla really likes it all too!

Neil, Heather and Cosmo came to town-Last week!
Last Thursday Neil, Heather, and Cosmo came in to town from California. We went to dinner with them Thursday night. They left Friday to go see my grandpa and we saw them again Saturday evening. Layla had so much fun playing with Cosmo. Cosmo taught Layla how to open a drawer. After coming home I put Layla on the floor for a second and she crawled right over to a drawer and opened it! LOL.
We think Layla may be getting another tooth on the bottom of her mouth. She also said Dadadadadadadada the other day. No Fair! I don't think she is even close to saying mama! Oh well. I will work on that!
Layla has also been screaming..in a really high pitched voice. She also does this thing where she fake laughs...and if you do it back she will do it again.

Big News!
I forgot to mention this last week (I am way too busy these days!) but Layla is getting a TOOTH! It is coming in on the bottom and I think this explains why she was waking up all night long for about a month.

Scary Santa!
After Layla's flu shot-we went to go have breakfast with Santa. A man made a mouse out of balloons for Layla-she wanted to eat it so we had to leave it behind.
We stood in line to meet Santa. When it was our turn-we put Layla on Santa's lap and she took one look at him and started crying! I asked if any other kids that day cried and the lady told me one other kid cried...all day! LOL.
I took a picture of Layla right after we took her away from Santa-she had tears in her eyes. Poor baby! Maybe she will like Santa more next year!
