Layla is spending the night with Jymme. I dropped her off at 12. Don and I toured a daycare at 1:30. We think we will hire the nanny we interviewed. I hope she is still available.
I miss Layla so much. The house is very quiet. I have no idea what I did with all of my time before she came..????
Heather and I are taking a trip with Cosmo and Layla to see our grandparents July 19th-21st. I can't wait. Cosmo better be nice to Layla or I will leave him at a rest stop because I am driving. I will have a ton of pictures because Heather is an undercover professional photographer.

Little Bunny Layla
I have made an appointment to tour a day care tomorrow with Don. We are still looking at hiring a nanny but I want to check it out just to make sure.
I know you are all loving my sick high voice. I will do anything to try to make Layla smile-even if it means sounding gross. Layla puts on a very serious face when she sees the camera.

4th of July
We took Layla to see fireworks for the 4th in Richardson. We have never been to this fireworks show before so we really did not know what to expect. The fireworks were the biggest we have ever seen. Layla really enjoyed watching! She did not cry once and fell asleep on the way home. It was her first holiday and it was so much fun!

Sleeping and the crib
Last night was a big night for us! Layla slept in her crib for the first time. She went to bed at 9:30 and woke up at 6:00 am. I am in heaven!!
I am going back to work August 13th.
We are still going to interview another nanny but we think that we found one that we really like. I am also going to tour a daycare since I have never been in one.

Baby Einstein Jumper
\
I wanted to see if Layla would fit into the Baby Einstein jumper so I put it together and put her in. Her feet do not touch the floor-even on the lowest setting. She just hung there. LOL.
